As a news editor, I lead my section through the writing, editing, and design process, ensuring that every story meets high journalistic standards through editing and encouraging writers through their process. I have developed strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills to guide writers in crafting impactful, community-focused stories. I work to create a welcoming, innovative, and hardworking environment by building strong relationships within my section and providing constructive feedback.
